Below is a message from our Principal, Mr. Biagioni:

Dear Village Families,

We have coordinated the day and time for you to drop off your school materials before the end of the school year. VAHS has worked closely with our district to create a plan that prioritizes the safety of our staff and community. It is critical that you follow the instructions during your scheduled drop off time. Follow the schedule so we can keep everyone safe and on time. Due to staffing limitations, we will not have additional days or times that miss their appointment. Student belongings that are not picked up will be held until we return to school. Items for pick up include medication, P.E. items and for our seniors, cap/gown (purchased beforehand), and diploma.

Seniors, part I: Friday, May 22nd (book drop off, cap/gown pick up)
Juniors: Tuesday, May 26th (book drop off, Mt. SAC application, summer school schedule)
Sophomores: Wednesday, May 27th (book drop off, summer school schedule)
Freshmen: Thursday, May 28th (book drop off, summer school schedule)
Seniors, part II: Friday, May 29th (chromebook drop off, diploma, pose and picture)

Location: The Horseshoe Drive off East End Ave. Signs will be posted to direct you to the back of the school.
Times: Last name beginning with the letters
A-C 1:00-2:00PM
D-K 2:00-3:00PM
L-N 3:00-4:00PM
O-V 4:00-5:00PM

Remember:
1. Do not get out of your vehicle for any reason.
2. This is not a time for photos or socializing.
Social Distancing Protocol applies to any and all events on campus: 6’ apart, masks at all times, no gatherings, and gloves required if interacting with students, parents and the community.
3. No one who is ill, including experiencing mild symptoms, or is exposed to a family member that is currently ill is allowed on PUSD Property.
4. If you are accepting materials from the school, in an abundance of caution, you may either wipe down or allow to sit untouched for 72 hours.

Please remove your Chromebook, Name Card, and Stylus from your case. Please also remove your Name Label from your Chromebook. All items will be stored separately for re-distribution next school year.

Student and Staff Device Support Drive-through Service Update

For the past three weeks, since the school closures were announced, PUSD staff has worked diligently to provide resources to those students and staff in need. Due to the current COVID-19 directives and to ensure the safety of our school families, staff members and their families, the Pomona Unified School District Student and Staff Device Support Drive-through Service will be closed until further notice. The Form will remain open, in order to ensure we are capturing District needs, however we encourage all to seek alternate means to access your instructional resources during this time of crisis. If and when we are able to physically re-open technology drive-through service, those on the form will be notified. If you have an issue that can be resolved through remote tech support, please call the Technology Helpline at (909) 397-4800 ext. 23780. Thank you.

Durante las últimas tres semanas, desde que se anunciaron los cierres de escuelas, el personal de PUSD ha trabajado diligentemente para proporcionar recursos a los estudiantes y el personal que lo necesitan. El Formulario permanecerá abierto, para garantizar que estamos capturando las necesidades del Distrito, sin embargo, alentamos a todos a buscar medios alternativos para acceder a sus recursos educativos durante este tiempo de crisis. En caso de que podamos volver a abrir físicamente el servicio de acceso directo de tecnología, se notificará a los que figuran en el formulario.
