Empowering Students at the Young People’s Conference!

Young People's Conference, Monday, March 3, 2026 at Village Conference Center

About 150 students from Garey, Ganesha, Diamond Ranch, Pomona, Park West, Fremont, and Village Academy came together for the Young People’s Conference, hosted by Student and Family Support Services and funded by the Mental Health Student Services Act.

Through engaging workshops and an inspiring keynote from Lucca Petrucci, students discovered tools to support their mental health, celebrated their unique strengths, and learned how to break free from the stigma around mental health—all in a safe and supportive environment.

A huge thank you to our incredible workshop partners: LACOE, Pomona Valley Pride, Day One, Improv it Up, Prototypes Youth Prevention, Tri-City Mental Health, House of Ruth, PUSD Mental Health Clinicians, Diamond Ranch Peer Support, and PUSD Student Support Specialists.

Students left feeling empowered, confident, and ready to shine!
